For I Know the Plans
by Dawn Ridley
With indisputable evidence that Blake cheated on her, Ava wonders if she should have trusted God more than her adoring husband.
Ava has a plan for her life and it doesn't include Blake Stephens. Raised by her elderly grandmother, she is left alone at the age of nineteen to figure out life on her own. She goes to work, goes to school, and goes to church. She doesn't have time for a relationship. But, even more, she doesn't have the emotional strength to love somebody and watch God take them away again.
When Blake's teasing kisses take away Ava's ability to think, he quickly adds stops on her life itinerary that she had never even considered. Blake has never had problems making decisions, so once he decided he loved Ava, all he had to do was convince her that they were a match made in Heaven.
But did Heaven have anything to do with it? Could God use their relationship in a special way? Does God truly have a plan for each person's life. A verse that Ava's granny had lovingly given her as a child keeps reminding her that God has a plan for her. Will Ava learn that she needs to let God take control of her life and trust it into his hands whatever the outcome?
